    Has anyone any experience with mindfulness by Jon Kabat-Zinn? My therapist mentioned his books to me and I was thinking of giving it a try. There is plenty on the internet about this and I think it's like being in the "now" by using a form of meditation.
    Any comments would be useful.

    Never heard of this guy, but sounds like it's worth a try. Steve, did you get to read Tolle's books? Tolle doesn't outline any specific technique, however, so it's good that your therapist has come up with something that may be more concrete in terms of practice.

    I have read the power of now which is similar to mindfulness which is living in this moment and not looking back or foreword too much. This is achieved by meditation and concentrating on breathing which focuses on the now. There is a good video which you might find useful:
